Warranty for Windshield Repair and Replacement
When it comes to broken windshield repair, the purpose is to fix the damage as well as prevent it from getting worse. In some cases, the damage can still worsen even after the repair has been done. This can happen due to a multitude of reasons. There is no guarantee that the crack will not get worse or spread to other areas of the windshield. Though this is a rare occurrence, in the event that something like this happens, our auto glass company will credit the payment for repair towards your cost of a new windshield installation. If you have made a payment for windshield repair and your car insurance will not pay for a windshield change, we will credit your cost for windshield repair towards the cost of windshield replacement.
If you have made a payment for your windshield repair and only the deductible needs to be paid, we will credit your cost for repair towards your deductible payment. If the cost for repair was paid by your insurance company and you have to pay a deductible or pay from cash on hand, we will credit the amount paid by the insurance company towards your deductible payment.
If the cost for repair was paid by your insurance company and you have a $0 deductible for glass, this means no credit.

Windshield Repair Warranty
If your windshield leaks, our mobile technicians will reach your home or office as fast as possible and fix the problem. The procedure we follow to eliminate the water leakage problem is as under:
Auto glass leakage problems can happen due to multiple causes. So, the technician will first determine the exact leak location. Other causes that can potentially lead to leakage issues include but are not limited to:
Clogged A/C drains
Clogged sunroof/moonroof drains
Clogging of the cowling area
Rusted pinch weld that can’t be repaired [Our windshield warranty does not cover heavily rusted pinch weld. In this situation, you will be advised to take your vehicle to a body shop.]
If the windshield leaks in 1-2 locations, our professionals will inject a sealant (small bead of urethane, 1/8” in diameter) around the problem areas so that the leakage problem goes away.
If the windshield leaks in 2-3 locations, injecting a sealer around the problem area will not solve the problem. In that case, our technicians will need to repeat the entire windshield installation procedure all over again. This means the windshield will be fully removed and then re-installed.
If the leakage problem still remains after following all these 3 steps and the windshield is found to be leaking, we will obtain a brand new piece of auto glass and dispatch to your home or office a different technician to perform the installation. Every dollar you paid will be refunded.
Trained and Certified Glass Technicians
Our team of auto glass technicians is highly trained and certified. Each technician at SIR Glass has to undergo on-the-job training for a period of three months under the supervision of master technicians. All our technicians need to take a proficiency test to demonstrate their skills.

When it comes to using adhesive for auto glass bonding, our technicians always use Urethane products manufactured by Sika. Compared to many other brands, products from Sika are simple to use. Other Urethane brands require technicians to strictly follow a complex set of parameters. In emergency windshield crack repair and car window glass replacement situations, it is often difficult for technicians to keep multiple parameters in mind. Using Sika products eliminate this kind of complexity for auto glass technicians and make their job easier.
Sika Urethane products come along with a broader range of parameters. For example, the safe drive away time remains the same except when the temperature goes beyond 110 or below 0. At SIR Glass, we use Sika MACH 60 for glass bonding with a safe drive away time of 1 hour.
